During my Week 3: Introduction to light balance work we had planned on filming on a set of stairs outside the college building, however we realised that these stairs were an exit from the building and a fire escape and so to set up a tripod there would be a safety hazard so we set up on another area instead.
We also made sure that whenever we were taking pictures or filming around college and were using a tripod that we folded it down to the smallest size whenever we needed to move it so that there were no accidents.
“WEEK 6: INTRODUCTION TO EDITING – UNIT 1”
George has done a good step by step guide on how to set up an edit, however he could do a little more on the shortcut keys like setting in and out points.
“WEEK 6: WORKING PRACTICES IN THE MEDIA INDUSTRY – UNIT 3”
George has done good detailed descriptions of the different contracts that are available in the media industry.
“WEEK 6: RESEARCH PROJECT – UNIT 2”
George has created a good survey and put in a pie chart to show some of the results of the survey. He has also used other sources as secondary research to talk more about the issue, however he could do with some more information in there.
“WEEK 6: INTRODUCTION TO NARRATIVE – UNIT 4”
George has done 2 detailed analysis’ of two scenes, but could talk more about the scenes themselves.
“WEEK 7: MY CAREER TIMELINE – UNIT 3”
The work is all there, however it could be more detailed as it is a little basic.
“WEEK 7: REPRESENTATION IN THE MEDIA – UNIT 4”
This is a very good piece of work and he has got a wide variety of different films and tv shows to show good representation of groups.
